Anaplan is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join their Agile team in York, UK. The successful candidate will be part of a Platform Engineering group, streamlining the delivery of a SaaS platform used by top-tier companies globally. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and honesty, offering unrestricted progression and a relaxed working environment.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and supporting internal backend tooling.
  • Championing best practices for SaaS service delivery.
  • Pairing with colleagues to build platform capabilities.
  • Developing release lifecycle management tooling.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience writing backend micro-services.
  • Experience with writing library code or contributing to open source projects.
  • Strong focus on writing tests.
  • Knowledge of / willingness to pick up Rust.
