SOC Analyst

Job Description

OKX is seeking a SOC Analyst to join its security team and protect its platform. The analyst will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents, working with various teams to assess risks and strengthen security operations. This role offers hands-on experience in the security lifecycle of crypto and Web3 platforms.Role involves:

• Monitoring and investigating security threats
• Leveraging threat intelligence for risk assessment
• Performing in-depth investigations of security incidents
• Conducting log analysis and anomaly detection
• Identifying and documenting tuning opportunities
• Assisting in creating incident reports
• Providing 24x7 SOC coverage

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in security detection and response
• Passion for technology or a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic knowledge of security attack and defense
• Understanding of security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Experience with IP/TCP stack, network routing protocols, and wireless protocols
• Proficiency with security monitoring and analysis tools
• Experience in a SOC or similar role
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Strong collaboration skills
