Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Demand Generation Manager to drive growth in the China market. Based in Shanghai, the Demand Generation Manager will develop and execute brand building and education strategies. This role requires a digitally savvy individual with a strong understanding of the Chinese business landscape. The Demand Generation Manager will partner with sales leadership and implement creative campaigns to achieve ambitious goals.

What This Role Involves:
  • Developing and optimizing a demand generation strategy aligned with China market goals.
  • Leveraging a multi-channel strategy relevant to target segments.
  • Leading media agencies, ensuring effective communication and budget adherence.
  • Advancing Account-Based brand awareness and education plans.
  • Collaborating with regional sales and business stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of local digital acquisition channels.
  • Coordinating with global teams to execute and tailor multi-channel campaigns.
  • Using data and insights to measure the effectiveness of digital acquisition programs.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience managing demand generation, ideally in B2B tech.
  • Strategic thinker passionate about leveraging new digital tools.
  • Strong grasp of the Chinese digital ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant Chinese platforms (e.g., Baidu, WeChat, Weibo, Zhihu).
  • Familiarity with analytics and automation tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Understanding of effective media channels across the customer journey in China.
  • Ability to connect campaign results to business outcomes.
  • Experience managing digital media and event budgets.
  • Excellent communicator (English essential with fluency in Mandarin Chinese).
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
