Job Description
Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive demand for a key category. This role involves devising campaigns that generate buzz and drive conversion, including digital events, influencer integrations, and partnerships with Whatnot sellers. The Marketing Manager will own buyer acquisition, plan and execute product release campaigns, manage a portfolio of influencers, and partner with the social team on social media strategy. They will also measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and iterate on strategy and execution.

Role involves:
  • Owning buyer acquisition for a specific category.
  • Planning and executing product release campaigns and on-platform events.
  • Managing a portfolio of influencers.
  • Partnering with the social team on social media strategy.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in category marketing, brand management, or social media marketing.
  • Experience running physical and digital marketing campaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup, marketplace, or creator-focused platform.
  • Experience working directly with influencers and creators.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with internet culture and creator communities.
  • Data-driven with experience tracking growth KPIs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Must be within commuting distance of San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York hubs.
