Job Description
Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Hartford, CT. This role involves providing excellent customer service to annuity customers, internal and external, through phone calls and written communication. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for understanding insurance products, resolving inquiries, and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding insurance products, procedures, and system capabilities
- Responding to inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
- Documenting telephone conversations and written communication
- Resolving telephone inquiries from parties of the contract
- Identifying, communicating, and proactively solving problems
- Answering questions regarding Global Atlantic products
- Investigating client requests and complaints
- Building strong customer relationships
- Reporting to work at the start of scheduled shift
- Serving as main contact for assigned sales representatives, accounts, and states
- Providing technical and operational support to clients and agents
- Using reporting tools and exercising good judgment when supplying reports
- Participating in team meetings and other cross-functional groups
- Understanding commission triggers, payments, and chargebacks
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years’ experience in customer service
- Strong PC and Software skills, especially Microsoft Office products
