Job Description
ShipMonk, the world's largest 3PL for high-growth e-commerce and DTC brands, is seeking a Senior Manager of Fulfillment Center Operations. This role is based in Louisville, Kentucky. The Senior Operations Manager will establish operational procedures, ensure warehouse maintenance, and coordinate activities with other functional areas. They will also manage the budget, ensure operational excellence, and lead cultural change when necessary.
Role Involves:
- Establishing operational procedures for warehouse activities.
- Ensuring the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
- Coordinating warehouse activities with other functional areas.
- Managing the budget and P&L of the operation.
- Monitoring and ensuring facility key performance indicators (KPI) are met.
- Participating in the interviewing, hiring, and training of staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations.
- 6 to 8 years related experience in Fulfillment Center Operations.
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency with enterprise technology systems.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Experience leading teams of 40+ employees.
