Job Description
Sezzle is seeking a Chargeback Analyst to support fraud monitoring. This role involves analyzing and responding to card and ACH disputes. The analyst will work closely with the fraud/risk and customer disputes teams, determining the best course of action for customers. They will also make recommendations to the Chargeback Manager on process improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate disputed transactions and take action to resolve disputes.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant departments.
  • Investigate individual transactions to identify patterns or trends.
  • Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineering to improve loss prevention mechanisms.
  • Maintain strong domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques.
  • Maintain or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in processing chargebacks or investigating and resolving fraud incidents.
  • Experienced in analyzing data and making impactful decisions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong business judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work through holidays.
