Job Description
CookUnity is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of non-core goods and services, with a focus on technology and software systems. This role involves driving sourcing strategy across SaaS, digital infrastructure, professional services, and facilities. The Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for structuring the evaluation, negotiation, and management of vendor relationships, especially as CookUnity scales its technology stack.Responsibilities include leading procurement strategy for indirect categories, designing scalable sourcing processes, partnering with Tech, Product, and Finance to evaluate software platforms, developing vendor evaluation criteria, managing the full sourcing lifecycle, implementing procurement systems, establishing vendor governance frameworks, and staying ahead of market trends.Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement strategy for indirect categories.
  • Design and own scalable sourcing processes.
  • Partner with Tech, Product, and Finance to evaluate software platforms.
  • Develop vendor evaluation criteria for tech platforms.
  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle.
  • Implement lightweight procurement systems or tooling.
  • Establish best-in-class vendor governance and SLA frameworks.
  • Stay ahead of market trends in technology, supply chain, and software licensing models.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing.
  • Proven ability to lead sourcing and negotiation for complex SaaS agreements.
  • Track record of supporting fast-scaling organizations or startups.
  • Strong relationship management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with procurement and contract lifecycle tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
