Job Description
Tenable is seeking a Senior IT Enterprise Support Engineer to enhance its vulnerability management program. This role is based in Sydney, Australia. The engineer will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and remediating vulnerabilities across endpoints, ensuring top-tier security. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement proactive security measures and maintain a robust vulnerability management process. The role also involves upgrading and maintaining endpoint images with a focus on automation.
Role involves:
- Analyzing and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact.
- Developing and implementing plans to address vulnerabilities on endpoints using scripting tools.
- Coordinating and overseeing the patch management process.
- Establishing and maintaining a system for ongoing vulnerability monitoring and reporting.
- Providing expertise and support during security incidents.
- Developing scripts to upgrade endpoint images.
- Investigating and providing escalation support for image sets.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical support experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Mac/Windows/Mobile Device Management and Applications.
- 5+ years of experience with Patch Management, including vulnerability detection, scripting, and remediation.
- 5+ years of scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- General knowledge of Local Area Networks and common information security practices.
- Proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Experience with MSP software such as JAMF/SolarWinds/ConnectWise or related tools.
- Experience with SCCM/MDT/WDS/Intune.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
