Job Description

Harbor is seeking a Research Analyst to join its Research + Intelligence division. This is a fully remote position based in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts legal, business, and other research and reference work.
  • Distills research results into clear and concise reports.
  • Evaluates diverse information sources for currency, reliability, and relevance.
  • Assists in the instruction of attorneys and legal assistants.
  • Maintains research proficiency across a wide spectrum of resources.
  • Utilizes request tracking software to process research requests.
  • Continues professional development through library association membership and activities.

Requirements:

  • MLS and/or demonstrated relevant professional research experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience providing research in a private law firm, academic law library or special library or research center
  • Experience with legal and business information resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Responsiveness and ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Client service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
