QA Engineer - Malaysia

Seesaw, a learning experience platform trusted by millions, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Student Learning team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of Seesaw's interactive tools and data-driven reporting. The QA Engineer will be responsible for leading testing efforts, both manual and automated, to deliver a high-quality product for educators, students, and families.Seesaw's Student Learning team focuses on enhancing the learning experience for students through multi-modal creative tools and data-driven reporting.Responsibilities:

• Drive testing activities for features from inception to launch.
• Develop and execute test plans across mobile and web platforms.
• Create, execute, and maintain end-to-end automated tests in Cypress.
• Partner with engineers to increase test coverage.
• Perform smoke testing for product releases.
• Investigate and escalate customer-reported bugs.
• Triage and prioritize bugs based on severity.
• Become a subject matter expert on the Student Learning team’s product area.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of manual and automated testing experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Strong product quality sense with a focus on user experience.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to proactively identify issues and share creative solutions.
• Ability to accommodate working hours that overlap with U.S. time zones.
