Job Description
Reddit is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ads Experimentation Platform team. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and capacity of experimentation tools within Reddit's Ads Marketplace. The Ads Experimentation Platform team builds tools for engineers and scientists to accurately test new products and efficiently verify new ideas in the ads marketplace. The manager will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to improve existing tools, research new methodologies, and lead experimentation practices.
Role involves:
- Coaching, motivating, building, hiring, and leading a team of engineers.
- Leading and executing a vision for the infrastructure roadmap.
- Setting a culture of data-informed decision-making.
- Facilitating collaboration between product teams and core platform teams.
- Participating in design and coding reviews.
- Translating business requirements into technical directions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of industry experience as a SWE.
- 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- 2+ years as a tech lead in systems & architecture design.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, Java, C++.
- Excellent communication skills.
