Ocado Technology is seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team at the Customer Fulfilment Centre in Purfleet. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and be a key point of contact for critical technical issues. The Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations through proactive improvements and maintenance activities, working on a range of machinery including conveyor networks, lifts, and cranes.Role involves:

• Being the principal point of contact for critical technical issues.
• Ensuring smooth operation through proactive improvement works.
• Performing maintenance activities on state-of-the-art machinery.
• Working on conveyor networks, lifts, and cranes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong technical competency.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments (ideally FMCG).
• Computer literacy and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Creative, solution-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Level 3 qualification or relevant engineering degree.
