Job Description
Verra Mobility is seeking a Director of Operations to implement strategic vision and make sound financial decisions. The Director will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and strategically transform operations for the future. The role requires a commitment to managing and motivating people, enhancing process controls, and using metrics-based management. The Director reports to the Business Unit Operations Executive and manages direct reports.
Role involves:
- Driving performance results across the business.
- Managing up to 75 employees and contractors with six direct reports.
- Executing a vision and strategy for customer issue resolution, transaction processing, and product fulfillment.
- Creating and maintaining operations metrics and KPIs.
- Partnering with business development and account management teams.
- Maintaining high levels of associate engagement.
- Developing and maintaining an exceptional leadership team.
- Optimizing capacity in terms of staffing, budgeting, facilities, equipment, and technology.
- Implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
- Managing budget and transaction costs.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate business degree (master’s or MBA preferred).
- 10 years of operations management experience.
- 5 years of BPO service operations management experience.
- Strong knowledge of the fleet industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Solid understanding of financial principles.
- Exemplary communications skills.
- Deep understanding of metrics/dashboards.
- Experience in acquisitions and integration.
- Experience leading multiple operational teams.
- Strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
- Ability to cope with changing priorities.
- Excellent computer skills.
