Planet is seeking a Sales Enablement Senior Manager to lead the internal Sales Enablement team and foster a culture of Sales Excellence. This role involves driving training and enablement initiatives for sales and supporting teams through tailored learning and development programs. The Senior Manager will manage a team focused on Sales and Technical Enablement for the Commercial organization.Planet is looking for someone with expertise in hiring and developing talent, choosing the right tools, and implementing effective enablement strategies to create a high-performance sales environment.Role Involves:
  • Overseeing a team delivering technical training and enablement initiatives.
  • Creating and updating resources such as guides, tutorials, and on-demand courses.
  • Developing and managing engaging educational events like webinars and workshops.
  • Reinforcing the Challenger Sales methodology and sales tech stack.
  • Analyzing feedback and metrics to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Assisting in designing and maintaining an effective Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborating with product teams to stay updated on new features.
  • Leading internal Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives.
  • Delivering and managing enablement resources via Planeteer Academy.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate sales enablement initiatives.
  • Leading the development and delivery of training content at the annual sales kick-off.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years managing teams, budgets, and day-to-day operations.
  • 6+ years of experience in a sales enablement role.
  • Challenger sales methodology certification (or equivalent).
  • Interest or basic knowledge in remote sensing and/or GIS industry.
  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and VILT training.
  • Experience developing and delivering sales enablement material.
  • Experience working with CRM software, such as Salesforce.com.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
