Job Description
Planet is seeking a Technical and Sales Enablement Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on internal learning and development, driving technical education initiatives for sales and supporting internal teams. The specialist will develop tailored learning programs and support broader learning initiatives at Planet. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, requiring three days per week in the office.

Role Involves:
  • Developing and delivering technical training for the internal Planet team.
  • Creating and updating resources like guides, tutorials, and on-demand courses.
  • Managing educational events such as webinars and workshops.
  • Analyzing feedback to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborating with product teams to communicate new features effectively.
  • Supporting internal Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives.
  • Delivering enablement resources via Planeteer Academy.
  • Working with sales teams to understand their needs and deliver technical product education.
  • Creating interactive training sessions and resources to help sales representatives.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to align internal learning strategies.
  • Identifying new sales tech stack training needs.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and VILT training.
  • Experience developing sales enablement material for sales teams.
  • Experience working with CRM software like Salesforce.com.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Interest or basic knowledge in remote sensing and/or GIS industry.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working within a team environment.
