Job Description
Bay Area Astoria, supported by GI Alliance, is seeking a Part-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Southeast Houston. This role involves providing outpatient services under a GI physician's supervision, completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering lab tests, and counseling patients. The position requires participation in continuing education and a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing primarily outpatient services under the supervision of a GI physician
- Completing patient histories and physicals
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease
- Participating in continuing education
- Working a flexible schedule
Requirements:
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner (acute) or Physician Assistant
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred
The role offers:
- Base salary plus bonus potential
