Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Product Configuration Analyst to drive product lifecycle and configuration management. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), oversee changes, and implement best practices in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The analyst will ensure data integrity, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Role Involves:
- Overseeing PLM activities, including BOM creation, maintenance, and updates.
- Coordinating the end-to-end change management process.
- Defining and maintaining best practices for data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Driving cross-functional collaboration for accurate product documentation.
- Managing and refining PLM workflows and user permissions.
- Conducting data audits and developing process improvements.
- Facilitating communication with vendors and international teams.
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and training materials.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in configuration management within a technical environment.
- Strong familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Agile, Arena, Teamcenter, or Oracle Cloud) and CAD/PDM tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of BOM structures and engineering change processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in auditing and interpreting metrics.
