Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager. This role involves overseeing the company’s total aircraft product costing efforts as Archer scales its manufacturing capabilities. The Finance Manager will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting, and Procurement to drive cost efficiencies and improve operational performance. This is an opportunity to build financial processes and drive cross-functional alignment within the Finance function.
What this role involves: - Leading forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for operations-related expenses.
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end financial close processes.
- Analyzing product costing, overhead absorption, and cost variances.
- Developing financial models to analyze production efficiency and cost trends.
- Tracking KPIs related to production costs, labor efficiencies, and inventory management.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams for make vs buy analyses and cost-reduction projects.
- Building data visualization dashboards.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an Operations/Manufacturing Finance function.
- Expertise in financial modeling, cost analysis, and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S4 Hana preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Finance and accounting processes.
- Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong excel modeling skills.
