Job Description
Box is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Public Sector team in the Washington, D.C. area. This role involves working with business and IT leaders to craft customer-centric solutions, define revenue opportunities, and ensure solutions are ready for deployment. The Solutions Engineer acts as a liaison between Sales and Product, sharing customer feedback and contributing to product development.

Responsibilities include:
  • Researching and identifying customer business problems
  • Owning the technical win for the customer lifecycle
  • Serving as a subject matter expert across multiple industries
  • Driving the technical deal forward
  • Understanding product integrations (Salesforce, Google, Office365)
  • Leading demos across Box offerings
  • Supporting field marketing events

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer experience
  • Experience with SLED and Federal accounts
  • Strong knowledge of FedRAMP authorization process
  • Knowledge of government procurement cycles and RFP/RFI processes
  • Familiarity with FAR and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with Box applications
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts
