Box is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Public Sector team in the greater DC and NY area. In this role, the Senior Solutions Engineer will be responsible for selling to business and IT leaders, crafting customer-centric solutions, and expanding revenue opportunities. They will also serve as a liaison between Sales and Product, sharing customer feedback with the Product Management, Operations, and Engineering functions.What this role involves:
Researching, exploring, and identifying customer business problems.
Owning the technical win for the lifecycle of the customer.
Serving as a subject matter expert across multiple industries.
Taking responsibility for driving the technical deal forward.
Understanding product integrations, including Salesforce, Google, Office365.
Leading demos across the Box suite of offerings.
Supporting field marketing events as a Box SME and presenter.
Requirements:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience required.
5+ years of Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer experience or relevant technical, customer facing experience.
Experience with SLED and Federal accounts required from a pre-sales motions.
Strong knowledge of FedRAMP authorization process and other compliance frameworks impacting SaaS vendors serving the public sector.
Knowledge of government procurement cycles, RFP/RFI processes, and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules).
Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated experience working with Box applications.
