Head / VP of Payment Operations

Bottomline is seeking a Vice President of Business Payment Operations to lead and innovate payment functions within the Paymode ecosystem. This role requires a strategic leader to drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance customer experience. The VP will partner with various teams to transform payment operations into a competitive advantage for Bottomline.Role involves:

• Defining and driving the strategic vision for payment operations.
• Developing scalable and secure payment systems.
• Leading business-critical payment workflows.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Using data analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to implement new technologies.
• Managing third-party service provider relationships.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of leadership in payment operations, financial services, or banking.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep expertise in payment processing including ACH, wires, virtual cards, and international payments.
• Strong command of regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead during complex situations.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
