Job Description
YouGov is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their global People Team in Budapest, Hungary. This role provides comprehensive end-to-end HR operational support across multiple European countries, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and managers. The HR Generalist will be a key point of contact for employees and line managers in assigned European countries, supporting them throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Role Involves:
  • Providing end-to-end HR operational support to employees and managers.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Managing employee lifecycle activities across multiple European countries.
  • Onboarding new starters.
  • Managing employee-related changes (pay reviews, role modifications, transfers).
  • Administering family leave policies.
  • Overseeing the termination process.
  • Responding to employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Supporting monthly payroll administration.
  • Benefit administration and employee file management.
  • Processing termination cases and creating leaver documentation.
  • Producing offer letters, employment contracts, and employment change letters.
  • Supporting annual promotion and pay review processes.
  • Utilizing Workday for employee data management and reporting.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity through regular audits.
  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Reward, and DEI teams.
  • Reviewing and suggesting improvements for operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Experience in European countries such as Belgium, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Spain, Italy, France, or Germany.
  • Strong knowledge of local and other European countries' labor law.
  • Experience using Workday as an HRIS.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform well under pressure.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to work accurately and independently.
  • Customer-focused with stakeholder management skills.
  • Personable with great communication skills.
