Job Description
Sony Music is seeking a dynamic DGM D2C to drive fan engagement, direct-to-consumer commerce, and B2B distribution efforts. This role is based in Mumbai, India, and will focus on expanding the label's physical product footprint across digital and retail channels. The ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives across fan engagement platforms, D2C commerce, and B2B distribution.
    What this role involves:
  • Defining and executing the roadmap for fan platforms.
  • Leading the launch and management of the label’s e-commerce and merchandise strategy.
  • Developing and growing offline distribution partnerships.
  • Leading physical retail activations at concerts, festivals, and in-store campaigns.
    Requirements:
  • 5–10 years of experience in D2C, online and offline retail distribution, channel sales, or merchandising.
  • Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of artist branding, fan engagement, and pop culture.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce, digital marketing, and negotiation.
  • Ability to interpret sales and consumer data.
