Job Description
Monzo Europe, an Irish-based subsidiary of the Monzo Group, is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to lead and manage operational resilience. This role is crucial for building and maintaining Monzo Europe’s operational resilience framework, ensuring compliance with regulations such as DORA. The Operational Resilience Manager will be part of the First Line Risk & Control Discipline, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prevent, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing Operational Resilience Policies and Standards.
- Identifying and assessing Critical and Important Functions (CIFs).
- Leading Business Impact Assessments and scenario testing.
- Ensuring compliance with DORA requirements related to ICT risk management and third-party risk oversight.
- Conducting due diligence on critical third-party providers.
- Leading the First Line Risk & Control Assessment (RCSA) process.
- Designing and implementing key resilience controls.
- Developing and maintaining incident management and crisis management plans.
- Providing training and awareness sessions across Monzo Europe.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Risk Management within digital banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of DORA, EBA Guidelines, and PRA/FCA Resilience Frameworks.
- Expertise in ICT and Security risk management, incident response, and third-party risk.
- Experience conducting Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and scenario testing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
