QA- SDET (Playwright)

Fictiv is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. This role is pivotal in ensuring product quality through test automation, contributing to the company's mission of transforming the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems and leading the design and implementation of automated tests.

What This Role Involves:

• Automating and maintaining end-to-end integration tests.
• Collaborating with QA Engineers to identify automation candidates and build test scripts.
• Creating integration tests using Cypress and Playwright.
• Performing code reviews to maintain team standards.
• Serving as a point of contact for engineering teams, providing automation guidance.
• Monitoring and maintaining the integration test library, diagnosing and reporting failures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-3 years of test automation experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Proficiency in writing automation tests in Cypress/JavaScript.
• Experience with UI and backend API testing strategies.
• Advocacy for high-quality, reusable code.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience with AWS and ERP systems.
