Majors Account Executive, Law Enforcement - West

Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Major Account Executive to focus on Law Enforcement accounts in the Western United States. The Major Account Executive will be responsible for building client relationships, closing new business, and expanding Peregrine’s footprint within strategic target accounts. This role involves prospecting, developing, and closing business, with a focus on understanding and addressing client requirements.

The Major Account Executive will contribute to high-visibility projects, land initial contracts with new clients, and grow the value of accounts over time. This role requires assessing, prioritizing, planning, and selling into a geographic subset of major accounts, specifically targeting the largest and most complex Municipal, County, and State Law Enforcement Agencies (agencies with 600+ sworn officers) across the Western United States.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities.
• Deliver senior-level presentations and demonstrations highlighting Peregrine's advantages.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technology roadmap.
• Contribute to identifying and documenting GTM best practices.
• Drive the expansion of business through ongoing account management.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of field sales experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space.
• Experience within data integration, analytics, and business intelligence in law enforcement / public safety strongly preferred.
• A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex accounts.
• Ability to negotiate and close legal agreements with customers.
• Familiarity with solution-based selling and managing a complex sales process.
• Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
• Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication and relationship management skills.
