Job Description
FalconX is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team in Seychelles. FalconX operates at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge technology, offering a comprehensive solution for digital asset strategies. The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining a robust compliance framework.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and review the Compliance Manual and AML/CFT program.
- Coordinate operational activities to maintain compliance with legal requirements.
- Identify compliance issues and report them to the Board of Directors.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies.
- Respond to FSA and file Suspicious Transaction Reports.
- Analyze regulatory developments and new compliance legislation.
- Enforce organization compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance to employees on regulatory compliance, Money Laundering, and Terrorist Financing.
- Conduct compliance monitoring of clients and third parties KYC.
- Review agreements with clients and 3rd parties for regulatory compliance.
- Investigate client complaints.
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of FSA Act, VASP Act, Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive.
- Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team-oriented, organized.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners.
- Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners, auditors, and other external partners.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements including local laws, international FATF and industry standards.
- Must be resident in the Seychelles.
