Elvah, a company focused on transforming the EV charging landscape, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Berlin. This role is crucial for scaling their technology and team as their platform grows across Europe. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be a key player in mentoring others, breaking down silos, and building reliable, elegant user interfaces.

What this role involves:
  • Owning and evolving the frontend architecture using Vue.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS techniques.
  • Mentoring engineers across teams and contributing to a more collaborative engineering culture.
  • Collaborating closely with backend, product, and design teams to build intuitive, maintainable interfaces.
  • Sharing knowledge through code reviews, pairing, and informal coaching.
  • Advocating for scalable, pragmatic solutions that balance quality with speed.
  • Helping define and uphold engineering standards and documentation practices.

Requirements:
  • Deep experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, and CSS in production environments.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and coaching engineers.
  • Solid understanding of component-based architecture and modern frontend tooling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Pragmatic and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and growth-oriented team dynamics.
  • Familiarity with TailwindCSS and Node.js or FullStack Development is a plus, but not required
