Job Description
iCapital is seeking a Corporate Finance Expense Manager to oversee the Fund Related expense division within Corporate Finance. This role involves managing month-end close processes for Fund Related and Legal Expense FSLIs, related Accounts Payable functions, and ongoing AR reporting for outstanding Fund Reimbursables. The ideal candidate will report to the Senior Vice President, Expense Controller.Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing month-end journal entries for balance sheet and income statement transactions.
- Analyzing monthly expenses and collaborating with the FP&A team.
- Providing high-level analytics for month-end reporting.
- Overseeing the corporate process of monthly billing of invoices inter-company for Fund receivables.
- Managing allocations of receivables across multiple funds.
- Maintaining data analytics and statistics on AP aging and AR collectability.
- Overseeing day-to-day AP operations and processing invoices into the AP system (Coupa).
- Identifying and remediating process gaps and implementing internal controls.
Qualifications include:
- 7-15 years of corporate accounting/audit experience within the financial services industry.
- Understanding of GAAP reporting.
- Degree in Accounting; CPA license preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and/or General Ledger systems.
- Experience with Coupa or similar A/P system.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
