WellPower is seeking a Mental Health Therapist I for Skyline Academy, an intensive facility school/day treatment program serving students ages 6 to 14 in Denver. The Mental Health Therapist will provide milieu-based, direct care and intervention, ensuring a safe, trauma-informed environment for students with specific learning and social-emotional needs. The role involves crisis intervention and collaboration with the clinical team to implement therapeutic interventions.Company: WellPowerRole Involves:

• Supervising and interacting with students in the classroom and milieu.
• Providing direct behavior modification interventions.
• Assisting with academic lessons and therapeutic programming.
• Intervening in student crises using approved techniques.
• Completing clinical documentation and communicating with parents/guardians.
• Planning and facilitating student activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience working with children or adolescents with learning or behavioral needs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical and TB screening prior to starting position.
• QMAP, CPR and First Aid Certifications within the first 60 days of employment.
• TCI certification within 6 months of employment.
