Job Description

JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981, is now a leading multi-channel retailer of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores and is focused on various retail segments, offering customers the latest products from top brands.

The Supervisor reports directly to the Store Manager and supports the store's Management Team by improving customer service levels and maintaining company standards.

Role involves:

  • Opening and closing the store, including merchandise arrangement and briefings.
  • Monitoring profitability through KPIs.
  • Providing exemplary customer service and handling customer complaints.
  • Ensuring the store's visual presentation aligns with company standards.
  • Managing merchandise and personnel entry/exit.
  • Participating in loss prevention and control.
  • Managing the cash register and handling daily transactions.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in structured retail environments, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Leadership and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
