Job Description

Capco is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer for BSI Projects to join their team in Zurich. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients succeed in a constantly changing industry. Capco is a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services sector.

The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-quality Java applications using the Java-Scout Framework to customize and extend BSI solutions such as CRM or CX (Customer Experience) for clients in the banking and insurance sectors. He will be involved in the agile implementation of use cases according to the individual requirements of the clients and will work closely with other developers, business analysts, product owners, and clients to develop innovative solutions and master technical challenges.

Role Involves:

  • Developing high-quality Java applications using the Java-Scout Framework
  • Agile implementation of use cases according to client requirements
  • Collaborating with developers, business analysts, product owners, and clients
  • Actively participating in agile development methods

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of Java development and programming (2 or more years)
  • Familiarity with Containerization, Maven, GIT, RESTful Web Services, and IntelliJ
  • Agile mindset and team-oriented personality
  • Excellent communication skills
