Job Description

The Student Hotel is seeking a talented and motivated Handyman/Handywoman to join their team in San Sebastian. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance tasks both inside and outside the hotel, serving as the first point of contact for guests and team members regarding maintenance issues.

The role involves a variety of tasks, from conducting checks and repairs to technical adjustments of equipment, all while maintaining a positive and engaging attitude.

Role involves:

• Serving as the first point of contact for maintenance issues.
• Performing small repairs within the hotel.
• Conducting maintenance checks.
• Liaising with external companies on technical and maintenance matters.

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies.
• Maintenance/construction training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Good command of Spanish and ability to communicate in English.
• Legal permission to work in Spain (DNI/NIE).
