Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Regional Sales Director (Enterprise - Southeast) to lead a team focused on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the Corporate market. This role is pivotal to driving growth in organizations with 2,000 to 20,000 employees. The Regional Sales Director will oversee the southeast region and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets. This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President (Enterprise, Southeast).

Role involves:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Maintaining a strong field presence to support the team.
  • Driving team performance to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identifying and securing new opportunities in greenfield markets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Preparing sales forecasts and developing strategic growth plans.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and taking corrective action.
  • Assisting with quotes and engaging in high-level negotiations.
  • Organizing pipeline reviews and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Spearheading recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of Enterprise Account Executives.

Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years leading high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Proven track record of success in driving new business acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success working on large, complex deals with enterprise corporate accounts.
  • Strong ability to manage and execute process-driven sales cycles.
  • Relevant experience in SaaS, cloud software, or hardware industries is a plus.
  • Experience working with channel partners is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse enterprise stakeholders.
  • High IQ, EQ, and self-awareness.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
