Job Description

ABBYY is seeking a strategic and experienced HR Business Partner to lead people initiatives across Hungary (primary hub) and the EMEA region (France, Germany, UK). This role involves developing and implementing people strategies aligned with business goals, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model from ABBYY's Budapest office, with at least two days in the office.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and talent management.
  • Fostering a positive employee relations environment.
  • Driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
  • Coaching managers on proactive performance management.
  • Identifying training needs and collaborating with Learning & Development.
  • Partnering with Compensation & Benefits to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies in accordance with local labor laws.
  • Utilizing HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of people initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 years of progressive HRBP experience.
  • Recent experience within a fast-paced global start-up SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across EMEA.
  • Proven experience in building processes and programs from the ground-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
