Job Description
Doctolib is seeking a FinOps Analyst to join the Platform & Security Coordination Office. The FinOps Analyst will be responsible for developing the vision of FinOps practices, driving FinOps initiatives, managing the hosting budget, identifying savings opportunities, and conducting hosting cost reviews.
  • Develop the vision for FinsOps practices at Doctolib and the roadmap to achieve it
  • Drive FinOps cost management and cost optimization initiatives across Doctolib
  • Monitor and manage the clouds’ spend against the agreed budget thresholds
  • Report on the hosting budget tracking and FinOps initiatives to Doctolib leaderships
  • Own the process for detecting clouds’ spend anomalies and perform detailed analysis of the overspend, savings, to reflect it on the cloud budgets
  • Work with different personas of the company such as FP&A, engineering stakeholders and leadership executives to ensure cost visibility at various levels
  • Own the existing Finops modelization process, including creating, updating and challenging the forecasting models and dashboards
  • Own the current FinOps monitoring tools and reports, mainly based on Datadog
  • Work with Engineering teams on identifying the cloud wastages and highlight the new potential savings opportunities
  • Work with FP&A and participate in the company budgeting and forecasting process
  • Analyze and manage the new RI’s / Savings plan renewal or purchase to lower the on-demand spend for the eligible cloud services
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of FinOps experience
  • Experience working with several clouds providers AWS, Azure, GCP and associated cost interface such as cost explorer, anomalies detection, budgets
  • Proficient in Datadog CCM, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel
  • Sound English level: oral, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent in out of the box thinking and analytical mindset
  • Knowledge of any technical language (nice to have)
