Job Description
Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Production Supervisor, Cell Line for their manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. This role involves supervising and coordinating production workers, monitoring schedules, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and excellent leadership skills.
Role involves:
- Supervising and coordinating activities of production workers
- Monitoring production schedules and adjusting resources
- Ensuring adherence to company safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Conducting start-of-shift meetings and providing work instructions
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records
- Training new employees and evaluating performance
- Troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with other teams
- Promoting a clean and organized work environment
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and production reporting software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus
Gotion Inc. offers:
- Base salary range of $80,000 – $100,000
