Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

A financial company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Krakow. The Senior Frontend Engineer will contribute to new and existing functionalities, proof of concepts, and technical improvements for the Digital Banking Platform. The autonomous team is responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from idea to release. The Senior Frontend Engineer is expected to take ownership of their work and proactively collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and other team members.

Role involves:

• Using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6 to create omnichannel user experiences.
• Crafting Angular projects using the Backbase Design System based on Bootstrap.
• Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code that is cross-browser compatible.
• Being part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivery from concept to production-ready software.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant working experience on complex products.
• Solid background in software development including design and testing.
• Strong Angular and Typescript skills.
• Experience with RxJS and understanding of design patterns.
• Experience with Nx monorepo tools is a great asset.
• Experience with non-functionals such as security, performance, scalability, accessibility, internationalization etc.
• Experience with Webpack, Node, npm, and the Angular CLI is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with build systems like GitHub Actions or Azure pipelines.
• Familiarity with E2E testing using Playwright or Cypress.
• Understanding of a tech full stack is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
• Already based in Kraków.
