Job Description
Anthropic is seeking a Product Policy Manager to join their user well-being policy team. This role focuses on developing policies and safety interventions for Anthropic's products and services, with a focus on areas such as child safety, mental health, human exploitation and abuse, and adult sexual activity. The Product Policy Manager will help shape policy creation and development to ensure users can safely interact with and build on top of Anthropic's products.
Responsibilities:
- Draft new policies for responsible use of models.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing policies.
- Review flagged content for enforcement and policy improvements.
- Update policies based on feedback.
- Develop subject matter expertise in policy areas.
- Educate stakeholders on policies.
- Stay updated on AI policy norms.
Requirements:
- Experience drafting or updating product policies.
- Ability to align policy decisions between stakeholders.
- Experience with generative AI products.
- Understanding of challenges in implementing policies at scale.
- Creative thinking about risks and benefits of new technologies.
- Experience as a researcher or trust & safety professional in relevant areas.
