Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Security Analyst to join their Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the security and compliance of the organization's information systems. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards to protect digital assets and support business objectives.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential security risks.
- Educating and influencing technology owners to implement necessary controls.
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies and processes.
- Maintaining the cybersecurity risk register.
- Conducting regular risk assessments.
- Processing security exceptions while assessing risks.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a GRC or Risk Management role.
- Knowledge of Security Best Practices.
- Hands on working knowledge with GRC tools.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
- Expertise with risk identification in solution architecture and design.
- Analytical Thinking and Project Management skills.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
