Job Description
WPP is seeking an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to support their EMEA and South Asia Team. This role is based in Dubai and involves conducting operational audits across diverse businesses. The Assistant Audit Manager will report to the Regional Sr. Director of Internal Audit, EMEA and South Asia. They will play a critical role in risk assessment, audit execution, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. The role involves:
  • Developing, planning, and executing internal audits.
  • Assessing and documenting key risks.
  • Creating tailored audit programs.
  • Preparing and communicating audit observations and recommendations.
  • Identifying root causes of audit findings.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with finance and operational staff.
  • Participating in special investigations.
  • Tracking and monitoring corrective actions.


Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Post-qualification experience in operational auditing, risk management, compliance, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in an international environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of COSO frameworks and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
