Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Montreal. This role is the first point of contact for potential clients and is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for the sales team. The Sales Development Representative reports to the New Markets Manager.
Role Involves:
- Qualifying leads from marketing sources via phone and email.
- Managing leads to qualify them for the internal sales team.
- Creating a positive first impression for potential clients.
- Assessing client needs to determine if Lightspeed solutions are a good fit.
- Managing multiple lead sources, including calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
- Maintaining the client database using Salesforce.
- Developing new sales strategies with the New Markets Manager.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Interest in technology sales and technical aptitude.
- Customer service and phone communication skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to multitask.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com (preferred).
- Experience in retail (preferred).
