Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Trainer to join their North American team. This role focuses on the onboarding and continuous training of sales representatives. The Sales Trainer will assess training needs and develop programs to enhance the sales team's skills and overall performance in the NOAM region.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for new hires, covering products, sales techniques, and internal processes.
- Conducting regular needs analyses to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the sales team.
- Developing and maintaining customized training materials, incorporating online tests, role-playing, and work simulations.
- Coordinating and managing training events, including logistics, schedules, and resources.
- Tracking training completion rates and documenting key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness.
- Collaborating with sales managers to assess business needs and post-training improvements.
- Fostering a culture of continuous feedback by actively gathering input from participants, enablement managers, and sales managers.
- Preparing and presenting monthly reports on the progress of new hires and other training initiatives.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting training-related data to generate actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in facilitating and creating training content.
- Knowledge of role-playing and online learning platforms.
- Agility and a solution-oriented approach, with the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in sales, sales development, coaching, or commercial training.
- A good understanding of sales techniques.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
