Job Description

Skylo, a global Non-Terrestrial Network service provider, is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to support its mission of making satellite connectivity available to all. This role is based in Bangalore, India, and requires onsite presence three days a week.

The Senior Manager will focus on recruitment, on/offboarding, compliance, payroll, culture, employee engagement, and performance processes. They will work closely with the Global VP, People & Talent, to implement local people programs and drive employee engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing local people programs and drive engagement with employees.
  • Assisting in the full recruitment cycle for key positions, driving talent acquisition strategies and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Supporting employees and managers, addressing concerns, providing guidance on policies, and fostering a supportive work environment while working with the Global VP, People & Talent
  • Ensuring company compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assisting in compensation structures, manage benefits programs.
  • Supporting the finance team in processing payroll, ensuring timely, accurate processing.
  • Supporting the performance review process, employee feedback, and development plans. Including initiatives for employee engagement and retention.
  • Providing insights for decision-making, and generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover, headcount, and engagement.
  • Leading the organization of local company events, staff meetings, and team-building activities

Skylo is looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in HR and office management or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, local legislations (specifically, in Karnataka), HRIS systems, benefits administration, and general office management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and HR software
