Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales, Enterprise to lead the charge in a period of extraordinary growth. This role is pivotal in shaping strategy, growing a high-performing team, and driving revenue within the Enterprise East region. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on sales leader with a passion for data, a strong technical background, and a proven track record in enterprise sales at early-stage startups.

The Regional Vice President of Sales will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and managing a team of Sales Directors. This role involves overseeing the entire customer journey, from Discovery and Evaluation to Implementation, Adoption, and ongoing success with dbt.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of 6–8 Sales Directors.
  • Cultivating a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Establishing and refining onboarding processes.
  • Helping shape and improve the Enterprise sales playbook.
  • Fostering alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Defining and executing strategic plans for key accounts.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience selling a technical product.
  • 3+ years of experience leading high-performing software sales teams.
  • Comfort with complex technical concepts.
  • Strong background in recruiting, developing, and retaining sales talent.
  • Alignment with company values and mission.
