Sportsbook - Frontend Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their Sportsbook Product Development department in Athens. The company boasts a world-class, in-house developed Sportsbook platform that is rapidly expanding into new markets and as a B2B product. The Product Development organization is globally distributed with cross-functional teams across multiple Tech Hubs.

This role offers the chance to work on a high-performance, high-availability, multi-brand betting platform, processing data from 10,000 leagues and handling hundreds of thousands of bets on a single Saturday. The successful candidate will join a team of over 150 agile professionals, utilizing technologies such as Angular, Typescript, .NET Core, C#, and RabbitMQ.

What this role involves:

• Being part of an end-to-end agile team with a strong feature focus.
• Involvement in all aspects of software development, from architecture and design to coding and testing.
• Designing and implementing new features.
• Analyzing the system and improving architecture and technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Experience in using Angular2+, Redux, and RxJS.
• Strong JavaScript and Typescript knowledge.
• Experience in using responsive design.
• HTML and CSS expertise.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience implementing distributed and multi-tier/micro-service systems.
