Job Description
Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is seeking a Senior WinOps Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for designing, orchestrating, and ensuring the proper functioning of all Schonfeld Corporate Technology, including Windows Infrastructure, Citrix VDI, SaaS platforms, Azure Cloud resources, and End-User Systems. The Senior Engineer will serve as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with global support teams and engineering peers.
Role Involves:
- Deploying new infrastructure through code.
- Developing integrations for all systems used by the firm.
- Leading complex technical and business changes.
- Managing and innovating complex systems.
Requirements:
- Strong coding automation experience, ideally with PowerShell.
- Great knowledge and real-world experience with core Microsoft technologies.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and On-premise Windows Administration.
- SME-level skills in Citrix DaaS, FAS, Storefront, ADC, and core VDI concepts.
- Expertise in Azure environment design, deployment, and management using Terraform.
- Experience with source control software (Git, Mercurial or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and technical documentation abilities.
