Metropolis is seeking a Senior Manager to lead one of its Customer Experience application development teams. The ideal candidate will have a product-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and customer satisfaction. This individual will inspire and motivate their team and shape a strong engineering culture across distributed locations.Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision technology to enable frictionless, checkout-free experiences in the real world. Metropolis is reimagining parking to enable millions of consumers to just drive in and drive out.Responsibilities:
  • Execute on multi-year vision and strategy for developing customer-facing Product offerings.
  • Establish processes for operational excellence in system reliability.
  • Coach and mentor the engineering team.
  • Drive hiring of top talent and set the culture within Metropolis Engineering.
  • Foster a collaborative environment for product and technical ideas.
  • Manage the delivery of high-impact workflow, dashboard, and data visualization applications.
  • Contribute to improving customer-oriented mindset competency across Metropolis.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Management experience and 10+ years of software development experience building customer-centric applications and products.
  • Experience scaling and supporting 10+ person teams.
  • Experience in successfully executing initiatives with strategic business impact.
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration in B2C and B2B settings.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and software products in high-volume consumer-facing applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
