Job Description
Alchemy is seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer to enhance its developer platform. The engineer will define the vision for the frontend platform infrastructure, ensuring seamless user interfaces across all products. They will collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions. Alchemy powers 70% of the top web3 teams, 90%+ of web2 companies building in web3 and 100+ million end users.
What this role involves:
- Defining the vision for the frontend platform infrastructure.
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable frontend infrastructure.
- Leading system design discussions and code reviews.
- Developing and enforcing best practices for frontend infrastructure.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimizing frontend build pipelines and client-side resource management.
- Driving adoption of modern frontend tooling and practices.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience in frontend or full-stack development.
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining core frontend software components.
- Proficiency in React.
- Proficiency in building scalable frontend infrastructure.
- Experience with frontend build tools and ecosystems.
- Expertise in optimizing web performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience in Cloud Native environments, particularly in AWS.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to execute new ideas autonomously.
